British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) offers fast-tracked immigration for qualified skilled workers who wish to settle in British Columbia (BC). Successful applicants will receive a BC PNP Certificate which will accelerate the Permanent Resident Visa application process.

To qualify, you must have a full-time employment offer from a British Columbia employer for a position that cannot be filled by a permanent resident or a Canadian citizen.

Occupations must be either of the following:

 

·         Skilled Worker Category in an eligible occupation in level O, A, and B

·         Health Care Professional (specifically physicians, registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses, and midwives); or

1.     You conduct job search

2.     You receive Prospective Employer (PE) interest

3.     Immigration Consultant to contact PE and explain PNP process

4.     You receive Employment Contract from PE

5.     Immigration Consultant to file PNP Application

6.     You receive PNP approval (8-10 weeks)

7.     Immigration Consultant to file Work Permit

8.     You enter Canada and begin working
